Que faire de la mémoire d‘un territoire, comment interpréter les traces visibles qui subsistent, ou au contraire leur absence ? Nunca Más, œuvre dont le titre reprend le nom du rapport de la Commission Nationale d’Argentine publié en 1984, retrace la disparition de trente mille opposants politiques enlevés par les militaires argentins pendant la dictature d’État (1976 - 1983). Les actions violentes effectuées ont été effacées par la volonté du pouvoir de ne pas laisser de traces. L’artiste, qui s’est déplacée dans l’optique de récolter, puis restituer les vestiges restants de ces disparitions, n’a trouvé sur place que des lieux ordinaires, qui ne se prêtent à aucune monumentalisation de la mémoire. L’histoire pourrait avoir été oubliée. Sur le verre, symbole de la fragilité des corps comme de la mémoire, sont inscrites des données factuelles (noms, dates de disparition des opposant.es et lieux) créant une tension entre l’image et le texte. Une caisse de transport vient compléter le dispositif. On y retrouve des informations récoltées sur les disparitions qui correspondent aux images sans plaques de verre. La superposition, qui entremêle noms, dates et lieux, rend l’information tout comme la compréhension de l’histoire difficilement assimilable. fluviale. On le nomme le bout du monde. Poussés par la pauvreté et les persécutions, de nombreux - Italiens, Espagnols, Grecs, Arméniens... - sont venus travailler dans les usines salines au début du XXe siècle. Les tas de sel se dressent et se fondent au milieu du paysage. Le sel est l’activité principale de la ville. j’interroge par ma pratique photographique nos modes d’habiter, notre rapport aux paysages et à l’environnement. J’explore les notions de mémoire et de territoire en m’intéressant aux frottements et écarts qui ouvrent un espace réflexif. Mon travail se situe entre les fonctions indiciaire et iconique, avec comme dénominateur commun, la question de la mémoire. De ce fait, dans ma méthode de travail, j’utilise d’une part les fonds d’archives et d’autre part la déambulation pour connaître les lieux, les territoires que j’arpente. Un temps long sur le terrain me permet de rencontrer les habitants et d’appréhender leur histoire. Cela m’aide dans ma compréhension, ma perception et mon appréhension des paysages. Je commence mes travaux par ces moments dédiés à la déambulation, à la rencontre et l’échange. Mon mémoire soutenu en février 2023 intitulé Rôle et statut du photographe interroge les rapports entre photographie et patrimoine principalement architectural, et l’évolution du rôle des photographes dans la préservation de ce patrimoine à partir d’exemples historiques précis, situés à Paris (transformations de Paris sous le Second Empire 1853-1870, Commune de Paris 1871, Commission du Vieux-Paris 1897) et à Arles (Mission héliographique 1851, travaux de rénovation du portail de l’Église Saint-Trophime 1987-1995 et du cloître 2008-2015). Opérateurs de prises de vues dans le cadre de commandes photographiques ou d’événements historiques ponctuels, les photographes que j’ai étudiés ont su outrepasser leur rôle et leur fonction jusqu’à devenir souvent des initiateurs de patrimoine, élargissant le champs de la patrimonialisation et la sensibilité à l’architecture. Certains se revendiquant même comme des traducteurs, renouvellent le sens et la lecture du patrimoine qu’ils inventorient. J’ai photographié le « à côté de la mer » vidé de sa&nbsp; population touristique. Ce travail se concentre sur l’aménagement du territoire à l’ère de l’anthropocène. De multiples strates liées aux différents usages apparaissent dans les paysages et montrent l’utilisation qui est faite de l’espace traduisant une certaine manière d’y vivre. Des espaces composites voués à la cohabitation d’activités.
